Holiday Wishes

Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed to the success of  Holiday Wishes 2011!   It would not have been possible without you!  In case you are interested, there are volunteer opportunities throughout the year in the Rainbow Room.  Please email volunteer@partnershipsforchildren.org to get started.

Many Travis County children have never known the thrill and anticipation of the Christmas holiday and the excitement that Christmas morning brings. Our Holiday Wishes project is able to create Christmas memories for children served by Child Protective Services (CPS) through the generosity and support of our community.

The Holiday Wishes project will provide a CPS child’s first name, age, and Christmas list to people interested in making a child’s holiday wish come true. An individual or group purchases the gifts and brings them to the Rainbow Room. We work with area churches, businesses and organizations to assist them in their holiday giving programs. All contributions of new toys or cash donations go directly to benefit abused and neglected children of Travis County.

General Gifts Guide

Become involved in Holiday Wishes by:

• Making a donation and we will shop for you
• Sponsoring a child by purchasing items on their wish list (recommended spending is $60 per child)
• Donating general gifts for children that are not matched with community donors
• Organizing a drive to collect gifts commonly requested on children's wish lists
• Volunteering your time to prepare and wrap presents
