Holiday Wishes
Many Travis County children have never know the thrill and anticipation of the Christmas holiday and the excitement that Christmas morning brings. Our Holiday Wishes project is able to create Christmas memories for children served by Child Protective Services (CPS) through the generosity and support of our community.
The Holiday Wishes project will provide a CPS child’s first name, age, and Christmas list to people interested in making a child’s holiday wish come true. An individual or group purchases the gifts and brings them to the Rainbow Room. We work with area churches, businesses and organizations to assist them in their holiday giving programs. All contributions of new toys or cash donations go directly to benefit abused and neglected children of Travis County. Our volunteers sort and organize the gifts for the children. Anyone wishing to volunteer during the holiday season may contact Partnerships for Children at (512) 834-4756 or email HolidayWishes@partnershipsforchildren.org. |
