WHAT ABOUT ME? Teen Conferences
We are proud to partner with the Casey Foundation and CPS to provide the WHAT ABOUT ME? teen conferences, an opportunity for teens in foster care to get together and discuss issues which are relevant in their lives.
Events include a keynote address and breakout sessions on topics relevant to foster teens, training for foster parents and special entertainment by various artists. In addition, foster parents and their children have opportunities to take home prizes and special gifts. This event works to provide foster teens with the tools to overcome some of life’s hardships while embracing life’s possibilities.
